Welcome Gianna Rose!

Welcome Gianna Rose! We have been anxiously waiting for your arrival for the past forty weeks. We decided to go against our personalities and keep your gender a surprise. It was definitely hard to wait but I was so blessed to be able to carry you in my womb for the past nine months and get to know you through your many movements, hard kicks and daily hiccups. Honestly, I couldn't imagine having anything else but a sweet baby girl. We are so blessed to have you as part of our family. God has answered all of our prayers, and we look forward to seeing what His plans are for you.

Gianna Rose was born on November 13, 2012 at 1:00am weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.  She's perfect!

I am so ready to meet our new addition.  We have been waiting for this moment for months!

Happy Halloween!

It was so much fun to see how excited the girls were about Halloween.  Seriously, they have been talking about this day since last Halloween.  Since last year, their choice of costume has been a favorite subject of theirs while riding in the car.  After going back and forth between the Tooth Fairy, Rapunzel, Flynn Rider and Batman, they BOTH chose to be Snow White.  Hey, that made it easy.  After a quick trip to one of our favorite amusement parks called Costco, we were ready for the big day.

The day got even more exciting when we were joined for dinner by Auntie Cynthia, Uncle JB, Grayson, Zander, Uncle Wane, Auntie Jess, Danica, Damia and the Perez family.  And I can't forget the star of our evening, Papa (aka Scary Old Man) who cooked our delicious dinner, decorated our front yard, and scared all the little trick or treaters.

Twirling and whirling and ready to go!

Class Parties

It was so much fun to be able to spend some time with the girls in their classrooms during their fall parties. I enjoy putting faces to the names of the friends that they talk about the most. And of course, it's always so heart warming when I hear "MOMMY!" when I walk into their classrooms, as if I didn't just see them an hour ago. Love it!

Pumpkin Carving Contest

I didn't know we were going to have a contest, but that's what it turned into. Mark took one pumpkin and I took the other. The girls chose their designs, and we were off! We each had our own strategy. I have to admit, I'd never seen anyone cut a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin before, but I didn't disqualify him. Mark took the cat and I took the bird. It was tie!

Team 1 is showing off

Team 2 is suffering.  Hey, it's not easy carving a pumpkin with my own pumpkin in my belly.

Babymoon

Mark and I were blessed with some time, 5 days and four nights, to get away by ourselves before baby #3 arrives.  We chose Dana Point, California as our destination.  Mark 's must-haves were amazing golf courses and opportunities to surf.  While my must-haves were amazing spas and opportunities to sleep in and lay around.  So after much deliberation and changing of our minds, we settled on a beautiful resort in southern Orange County.

On our way.....ahhhhhhhhhh!

Gotta have a convertible in Cali
