It was so much fun to be able to spend some time with the girls in their classrooms during their fall parties. I enjoy putting faces to the names of the friends that they talk about the most. And of course, it's always so heart warming when I hear "MOMMY!" when I walk into their classrooms, as if I didn't just see them an hour ago. Love it!

Pumpkin Carving Contest
I didn't know we were going to have a contest, but that's what it turned into. Mark took one pumpkin and I took the other. The girls chose their designs, and we were off! We each had our own strategy. I have to admit, I'd never seen anyone cut a hole in the bottom of the pumpkin before, but I didn't disqualify him. Mark took the cat and I took the bird. It was tie!

Babymoon
Mark and I were blessed with some time, 5 days and four nights, to get away by ourselves before baby #3 arrives. We chose Dana Point, California as our destination. Mark 's must-haves were amazing golf courses and opportunities to surf. While my must-haves were amazing spas and opportunities to sleep in and lay around. So after much deliberation and changing of our minds, we settled on a beautiful resort in southern Orange County.

Mermaids Ashore!
Let's see if I can catch you all up on what's been going on in our household. It has been way too long since I've posted anything. The truth is, blogging was previously done during naptime. Now, naps for ALL of us happen during naptime. Being preggo and taking care of two little ones is exhausting. I am wiped out by 1pm, so we all get some shut-eye in the middle of the day. Well, only two more weeks to go, so I'd better try to catch up while I can.
The girls' birthday party was a blast and went very smoothly. The weather cooperated and the blow-up slide arrived on time. I was a bit worried that the girls would be afraid of the slide, but they absolutely could not get enough of the water slide and neither could the other kiddos. It was great entertainment and worth every penny.
